Sports director expects to see Chris Anker Sørensen in the overall standings in the Tour de San Luis next week.
These are new times for the bike rider Chris Anker Sørensen: after ten seasons he said goodbye to Tinkoff-Saxo to relaunch his career at the French team Fortuneo-Vital Concept.
The 31-year-old Danish champion is transferred to a Pro Continental team as the driving force, and he will be one of the team’s three spearheads of the seven stages long Tour de San Luis in Argentina, that starts on Monday and will be his debut for his new team.
Argentine Eduardo Sepulveda is the team’s captain in the South American`s homeland, but Chris Anker Sørensen and also Julien Loubet will try to position themselves towards the top of the standings.

“I am ready to help Eduardo be the best“, said Chris Anker Sørensen in a press release from Fortuneo Vital-Concept. “If the opportunity arises, I will take the chance, but first of all I would support Eduardo. He has a good chance to do something in this race“, said the Dane.
Sports director Roger Trétin expect to see his new acquisition Danish fighting for a good position in the overall standings.
For Eduardo Sepulveda it`s a special race. It is his homeland and he has had great opportunities to train here. Chris Anker Sørensen and Julien Loubet will try to play a role in the overall standings, said Roger Trétin.
Chris Anker Sørensen’s career has in recent years undergone a halt, ut he is looking forward to a fresh start in his new team.
“I trained hard in winter. It is always difficult to assess the team’s strength, before we get started with the races, but it’s my first race under the new colours. It will be exciting“, said the Danish rider.
